The Certificate III in Concreting reflects the role of concreters working in concreting operations on residential and commercial projects.
This practical course is delivered on the job, allowing participants to learn, validate and improve their skills and knowledge within their trade.
This qualification has core units of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry, as well as specialist units in concreting field of work.
This course is delivered by National Construction Training (NCT), a trading name of National Training Services Pty Ltd (RTO 21254).
DURATION
Training for this qualification is conducted on the job over 12 months.

WHO IS IT FOR?
This qualification is suitable for those who are currently undertaking concreting tasks in the building and construction industry and are looking to become qualified in preparation for the introduction of new Victorian Building Authority trades registration requirements which have been approved by the Victorian Government.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
There are no prerequisites, however you should be employed in a suitable position within the building and construction industry and regularly undertaking concreting tasks.
You should also hold the unit CPCCWHS1001 Work Safely in the construction industry (White Card) before commencing this program, or within four weeks of commencing. NCT can refer you to quality providers that deliver this unit.
TUITION FEES
National Training Services can access state government funding for this qualification through the Victorian Skills First funding program. Participants who are eligible for Skills First funding will pay no tuition fees. If participants are not eligible for funding a fee may be required, please contact NTS for details on fee for service costs.
VICTORIAN SKILLS FIRST ELIGIBILITY
You may be eligible for Skills First Funding if you are:
an Australian citizen, permanent resident, New Zealand citizen, or a holder of an approved bridging, protection, safe haven or humanitarian visa; and
under 20 years old;
OR
an Australian citizen, permanent resident, New Zealand citizen, or a holder of an approved bridging, protection, safe haven or humanitarian visa; and
over 20 years old and enrolling into a qualification higher than the highest qualification already held
